Nestled along the Tug River, among the rolling hills of southern West Virginia, the City of Williamson has proven to be a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. The Williamson Housing Authority, located in the center of downtown Williamson, was founded in 1938 and is one of the oldest public housing agencies in West Virginia and the nation, serving as a testament to the City’s long standing and continued commitment to providing safe, decent and affordable housing to those most in need. The Williamson Housing Authority is an Equal Housing Opportunity Provider and does not discriminate in housing because of race, color, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, familial status or disability.
